SOUGATA CHAUDHURI, is a Mechanical Engineer and MBA by academics have years of experience working with three multinationals.  He has very recently come to Kolkata. The purpose of his company Nalanda Today is “to partner you to unleash the achiever, sharing success & failure stories in real life’s“

With close to 4 decades of experience in General Management/ Supply Chain Management. Specific experiences have been in starting and running new/acquired businesses, technology development/ transfer, supply chain management, restructuring of sites, new projects, end-to end business management of 100% EOU with 16 Global customers, Hands on Machine Building & relevant Packaging expertise, corporate Quality assurance and TPM. A chequered product category exposure, starting with Steel Melting, Rolling Mills, Machine Building, Tea, Instant Coffee, Conventional Coffee, Processed Foods (Ketch up, Jam, and Squash etc), Tea Based Beverage, Home & Personal Care (through Quality Assurance role) and Tea Bags for 100% Export to sixteen overseas countries.

Has demonstrated passion for building teams with external orientation and global mindset and capability of mentoring any diverse group of multi ethnic professionals to build superior talents & effective working relationships across geographic and cultural borders.

Sreela Das Gupta with an M.Phil in Population Studies from Jawaharlal Nehru University has been working in the area of women’s empowerment for the last two decades. In 2000-2001 she was selected for the US Government’s Hubert H Humphrey leadership fellowship program and studied at the Tulane School of Public Health, USA. Sreela has multi tasked as a programmer, a researcher, a trainer, a counsellor, a manager and worked both with grassroots organizations in rural villages and urban slums, and international agencies. She is currently working as a consultant. Her focus is on building capacities of women and organizations working with women. She is supported by agencies like Oxfam, UNICEF, USAID. She provides training on self realization and empowerment, leadership development, gender sensitization and inclusion, OD (organizational development) and also provides one on one counselling for women of all age groups (15-50 years).

Satish K Bhaia an Engineer Graduate, has been involved with the company since 1980. The company saw consistent and excellent growth under his able guidance.

Satish K Bhaia has been involved in the research and development of New Products keeping in-line with the international trends. He has widely visited across the globe to various companies , exhibitions & seminars and has been a regular speaker in various technical seminars all over the country.

Nurturing his dreams of manufacturing affordable irrigation drip machineries, the company also got an award from Plastindia 2005 in “Innovative Plastics, Processing Machinery and Ancillary Equipments” category.

He is committed to develop machine with European quality at Asian prices to break the price entry barrier in India.

For past ten years she has been associated as a counseling psychologist, with the progressive schooling set ups. The role of a guidance counsellor has changed drastically during this period and it has evolved as a dynamic, multifaceted support system that caters to varied needs emerging in the school systems.

Mrs. S.Priya has strongly advocated for evolving SCHOOLS AS LEARNING ORGANISATION. Learning organizations are schools where people continually expand their capacity to create the results they truly desire, where new and creative patterns of thinking are nurtured and where people are continually learning and growing together. For continual improvement to take place, everyone needs to know what is expected of him or her.

Teachers must understand their role in the larger context of the system and be aware of how these roles change as quality improves. There can be no innovation through continuous process improvement without research and no research without adequate trained staff and educated employees. Her workshops and consultancy with school management have addressed these core issues in a very need based model for the school based on its culture, vision and goals.
